The Able Eddie was designed in the early 1990's to
fill the need to know how much power remained in your batteries at the end
of the race, racing with 1400 and 1700 cells off road was prone to cause
dumping, the Able Eddy was useful as it measures how many percent is left
in the cells..
Key Benefits
- Shows the percentage power discharged from the cells.
- Cuts of at six volts, the end of the useful run time, and the safest
voltage to cut off at..
- 4 amp discharge rate, safe for discharging a full pack to find the
"full" capacity of the cells.
- No 12 volt supply required, gets its power from the cells being
discharged, contains a pen cell to maintain the display
when not discharging.
- This model calibrated/switched for 1400 and 1700 cells (fully charged
packs will display 100% (approx) when discharged).
- Unattended operation, plug it in to the battery, press start, and get on
with something else, when the light goes out its done. No over discharging,
and the unit remembers the discharge value until you press the start button
again (with cells attached).
